One upload run spends credits: a photo or carousel is 1 credit, a video is 2 (videos take more to analyze). You drop in a post, pick your platforms, and get three caption angles back. That whole round trip is the credit. Editing and copying the results is always free.
How do the paid plans compare?
Starter is $15/mo for 50 credits a month, with voice-matched captions and video + carousel analysis. Pro is $40/mo for 150 credits a month plus priority support. Studio is $50/mo for 250 credits a month, also with priority support. A photo or carousel costs 1 credit; a video costs 2.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal in your dashboard. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens to my voice profile if I stay on Free?
It stays, and it keeps learning. On Free, Captiv quietly keeps learning your voice from what you keep and edit; voice-matched captions switch on the moment you upgrade to Starter. Nothing is lost when you upgrade.
Can I write the caption myself?
Yes, on every plan. Write or paste your draft and Captiv returns three optimized versions that keep your voice and facts. You can also describe the caption you want (creative direction) and Captiv writes it from scratch, on every plan.
Do you post to my accounts for me?
No. Captiv writes the caption and hashtags; you copy them and post wherever you like. We never connect to or touch your social accounts.
